The Advantages of a Ceiling Fan…
Anybody who has lived in Georgia knows how hot Atlanta gets in the summer time. Everyday we take that little run from the office to the car and from the car to the house desperately trying to escape that scorching afternoon sun. At home, we crank our AC and ceiling fans to the max and proceed to enjoy the relief of cool air hitting our skin while we stare at those spinning blades of the ceiling fan with delight.
And what are the advantages of having a ceiling fan?
Let’s take a look at a few of them.
Aesthetics.
Ceiling fans can make or break a room. They are sometimes used as a focal point to complement the ambiance and decor of the owner. When shopping for a ceiling fan, always remember to match or complement your room decor with your ceiling fan.
Lighting.
Often, we replace lighting fixtures with ceiling fans that have one already as part of it. Keep in mind to purchase light bulbs that will give you the right amount of light you are accustomed to whenever you use that room.
Air flow.
The more blades, the more air flow? Wrong! The amount of airflow is associated with the motor of the fan. Sometimes, more blades provide less air flow than even only three. Make sure to check the motor specifications, especially if you are planning to use your ceiling fan to help with ventilation.
